Review of Antares Inn: A Balanced Value PropositionAs a marine biologist hailing from Nassau, Bahamas, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Antares Inn during a trip to Lima, Peru. The hotel offers a solid mix of comfort and convenience, making it an attractive option for travelers seeking value without compromising too much on luxury. The spacious room came equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, which made for a pleasant evening retreat after a day of exploring. The shower was particularly noteworthy—offering both hot water and good pressure, it arguably provided the best bathing experience of my travels. The attentive staff were a highlight, readily available at the 24-hour front desk to assist with inquiries, often taking the time to ensure a smooth experience. With secure access and the close proximity to public transportation, getting around was hassle-free. The on-site bar/lounge area is a nice touch for relaxing after a long day, although I found culinary adventures nearby even more rewarding. The seafood restaurants within walking distance serve arguably some of the best meals in Lima. In summary, Antares Inn strikes a balance between luxury and budget, making it a practical choice for travelers. Its strategic location near the North terminal and local markets further enhances its value.
